Its dark. Its a Dennis Potter play about a posh couple who have a disabled daughter and they let a man in there house who was played by Sting. He is supposed to be the devil or represent evil. I havnt seen it for years and years but it was slightly dark.

I remember this film now, Lola. Strange how some memories are locked with the confines of one's mind, and for all intent and purposes are forgotten, but along come some simple trip of memory, and like magic, it's unlocked to live again.

I'm not really into mushy romance films, but this movie has it all imho, it has, deceit, death and romance, so it draws on all emotions and is now my favourite film, have watched it 3 times and intend to watch it more as my o/h bought the Dvd for me. I remember seeing it in the early 1980's and if I remember rightly Denholm Elliot played the father. Sting made another film around this time as well called Artemis 81 if my memory serves me well.

This is a film that I found enthralling 'Stigmata' which starred Patricia Arquette

I Like that Screen version,Shine,The words of the play are embedded in my brain forever after doing Romeo and Juliet at O Level .
"What drawn and talk of peace I hate the word as I hate hell, All Montagues and thee" .. Tybalt
I think I got that right,I'll look it up in a minuite to see how well my memory serves me

It's a love story of Vampires. Catherine Deneauve and David Bowie play the dying vampires. A classic. Just watched it.
Shine, reading that reminded me of a fantastic swedish film I saw a few weeks ago. Im not usually drawn to vampire films, but I had read the reviews for this film and it recieved nothing but praise.
