the thing is most horrors are so far fetched they dont frighten me at all but that is where the psychological thrillers play with your mind and scare the bejesus out of me but generally they have never scared me although the first halloween did frighten me a bit but i was only 16 at the time

So dramatic this I'll never sleep again, maybe thats it ,they were funny and unreal in those days but these days the effects make them look to realistic I wanted to find a clip with Dracula in his horse and carriage galloping up to his castle, thatsan imageI remember from those old horror films

i remember watching the exorcist at my folks one saturday afternoon when i was about 19 with a group of mates. my dad walked in, as they do, asked what we were watching, told him and he said oh this looks good and stood there for 10 mins watching the movie haha
if there is one thing you should do when watching the ring, is do what i did to my daughter when we watched it. i sneakily dialled our landline at the end of the movie and have never seen her jump so high
Lol we were trying to do this to a cousin, it never worked would have been great. I loved the Ring, it was fresh new and scary. I saw the original version and have to say I preferred the Hollywood one better. The 2nd part wasnt good and I hear a 3rd will be released this year.

My parents keep asking me if I still like to watch horror movies late at night, of course I do, best time to watch them.
Nightmare on Elm Street scared the hell out of my ex mother inlaw from hell, at least she landed up going out instead, the stupid witch. We learnt to always ensure that we got out a horror when we got videos.

I love watching horror movies in the dark and all alone. Nightmare on Elms was wicked, Exorcist, Shutter, Ring, Hills have eyes (Have you seen this movie?)
They were good and I love watching them alone.
Friday 13th I watched in Cinema and walked out, and The Unborn I watched at Cinema it was ok.

Best horror I've watched was the original version of Salem's Lot with James Mason and David Soul. I also enjoyed Event Horizon, Halloween, Halloween III and the first Hellraiser.Wishmaster was a lot of fun. I never really enjoyed the slasher films - a bit samey.

Halloween the first movies were good and Hellraiser after that they both got stupid.
